How do I send my invoice via Peppol?

Basic requirements

To ensure that your invoices are successfully sent via Peppol, you need to correctly follow two important steps:

  1. Activate Peppol in your account: Make sure that the Peppol functionality is activated within your account. This is essential to gain access to the Peppol network and the e-invoicing capabilities it offers. See also How do I connect to the Peppol network?
  2. Set your customer’s Endpoint ID correctly: Verify and configure the correct Endpoint ID of your customer. This ID ensures that the invoice is accurately sent to your customer’s specific digital mailbox on the Peppol network. See also How do I set my customer’s Endpoint ID?

Once these two points are correctly configured, you can start sending B2B and B2G invoices via Peppol.

Step-by-step guide

Click on the “three dots menu” to the right of the invoice to open the menu, and choose “Send”.

The “Send Invoice” window opens. In the middle, choose “Via Peppol”. Note that this option will only be available for invoices to your B2B or B2G customers, and not for private individuals!

The “Send invoice via the Peppol network” window opens. In this window, check your customer’s Endpoint ID once more. If you also want to send a traditional email along with the Peppol invoice, check the box “Send additional email in combination with Peppol delivery”. Then click “Send”. Done!
